Change to drug coverage will help British Columbians with hepatitis B, support group says

Patients no longer have to apply each year for medicine that slows liver damage

British Columbians with chronic hepatitis B no longer have to re-apply every year for medications that can slow down liver damage caused by the disease.

Patients who qualify will now have their prescriptions covered under Pharmacare for as long as they need them.
