Bikers pedal to promote organ, tissue donation

Doctors told Erskine Gillespie he had seven days to live.

A battle with hepatitis B had ravaged his body, leaving him unable to walk and destroying his liver. When doctors told him he would die in a week unless he received a liver transplant, Gillespie said he was certain his time was up.
